A.C.E PROGRAMME

APACRS CERTIFIED EDUCATOR (A.C.E.)

The APACRS Certified Educator (A.C.E.) programme was established and officially launched at the APACRS 15th ICIMRK meeting held in Xiamen, People's Republic of China in December 2002.

A.C.E. is a distinguished award established within the association to recognise ophthalmologists who have made significant contributions to train surgeons in the Asia-Pacific region in new techniques such as phacoemulsification and LASIK.

APACRS is fortunate to have the support of the Singapore National Eye Centre and 3 pharmaceutical firms namely, Advance Medical Optics (AMO), Alcon and Bausch and Lomb, working in close partnership on the A.C.E. programme.
