The APACRS Certified Educator (A.C.E.) programme was established and officially launched in 2002.
A.C.E. awards are given out at the APACRS Annual meeting to recognize ophthalmologists who have made significant contributions to train surgeons in the Asia-Pacific region in new techniques such as phacoemulsification and refractive surgery.
The A.C.E. programme is sponsored by Alcon, Bausch and Lomb (B&L) and the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC).
