Y.C. LEE

Dr. Y.C. Lee is the founder and chairman of Lee Eye Centre in Ipoh, Malaysia, and a founding member of APACRS. He is medical superintendent of Perak Community Specialist Hospital.

Dr. Lee is involved in skills transfer courses in the Asia-Pacific region via APACRS and MASIS, an interest group in small incision phacoemulsification. His work has earned him numerous awards, including Distinguished Service Awards from the Asia-Pacific Intraocular Implant Association (APIIA) in 1996 and the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) in 1997, and the APACRS Gold Medal in 1998.
